BASF Catalysts' Surface Technologies facility receives Best Quality Award from Pratt & Whitney |
BASF Catalysts’ Surface Technologies manufacturing facility in East Windsor, Connecticut, has received a Best Quality Award from Pratt & Whitney’s East Hartford, Connecticut, Repair Operations Group.
Pratt & Whitney ,a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, space propulsion systems and industrial gas turbines ,recognized BASF Catalysts’ Surface Technologies group for the consistent quality of their work in repairing and coating jet engine turbine components using a thermal spray coating that enhances the surfaces of these and other aircraft parts by providing superior wear, impact, corrosion and fatigue performance.
The honor was presented by Kevin Vicha , General Manager of Pratt & Whitney’s East Hartford, Connecticut, Repair Operations Group, at a recent supplier conference.

BASF's Center for Advanced Coatings offers customers thermal spray process capabilities. The Center is designed for applications development, parameter studies, coatings qualification and prototype work. BASF coatings experts work directly with customers to diagnose problems and devise solutions. |
